Folk Shirt Red Floral
These traditional Eastern European hand-spun linen blouses originate from Hungary and Transylvania, they are made of a heavy weight linen fabric.
This blouse has an open tunic style neck with a webbing tie and detailed embroidery which follows the neckline. The yoke to the front and back is a double thickness. This shirt has straight shoulders and a rectangle sewn into the armhole for ease of movement, the elaborate pin-tucks at the shoulder create a balloon sleeve further down the arm which are then gathered into the cuff which is finished with red embroidery and delicate hand sewn edging.
