These traditional Eastern European handspun linen blouses originate from Hungary and Transylvania, they are made of a heavy weight linen fabric, this one has beautiful lace detailing in a single strip at the top of the shoulder above the seem, the shoulder itself is finely gathered and hand stitched which gives the sleeve a balloon style appearance, it then gathers in at the open style cuff and is finished with a lace frill. There is fine hand stitched gathering to the rear collar giving the blouse a fuller appearance.
