Folk Blouse Frill Shoulder
These traditional early 20th Century Eastern European handspun linen blouses originate from Hungary and Transylvania and are made from a heavy weight linen fabric.
This blouse has frills to the shoulders and hand stitched embroidery to the top of the sleeves trimmed in olive stitching, it has balloon style sleeves which gather in at the cuff with pretty embroidery detailing in bright colours, the hem has been hand stitched on and left raw at the edges. There is intricate gathering to the neck panel with gives the blouse a fuller appearance.
