Ikebana style arranging for the home with La Famille
Ikebana has largely been undervalued in many Western floristry practices; it is rarely taught or introduced in Western flower schools. La Famille flowers has always championed this very immersive practice which asks more from the practitioner, in terms of their decision making and approach to arranging.
La Famille invites you to the first in their floral design workshops to explore the possibilities for ‘Ikebana style arranging for the home’
This on-line session with Paul Malget will take place via zoom, is for all abilities and tackles the principles of design, stem selection, how to work with Kenzan ‘pin holder’ and styling for different containers.
Participants will gain the necessary technical know how to collect relevant materials, preparation of stems and a number techniques to use in the mechanics of their designs.
Each visitor will receive a pin holder welcome pack included in their purchase, this will be posted out or hand delivered locally in time for the workshop.
