Milagros, translated in Spanish as ‘miracles’, are intricate folk charms traditionally used for healing purposes and as votive offerings in Mexico and Latin America. These small metal sculptures often depict body parts such as hands, eyes and hearts to symbolise health, protection and love.
These decorative Milagros have been hand made by local artist Ruby Addison.
