Seasonal Beret Embroidery Workshop with Laura Elford
With the festive season looming, we have something creative for you to scratch that itch.
On Sunday 13th November from 3.30 - 5.30 we we will be hosting the first in a series of workshops at our Sandgate Shop with local makers.
Laura Elford is a fashion designer, creative educator and sustainable independent brand owner who customises and reworks clothing and fabrics using embroidery, sewing and dye techniques, Laura is also a Royal College of Art alumni and fashion designer in the industry with over 15 years experience.
In this workshop you will learn how to customise a beret with embroidered motifs of your own choice, learning new techniques and stitches, and using Laura's catalogue of designs should you wish.

All materials will be provided, including a new beret (various colours available to choose on the day), and all purchases made in the shop will receive a 10% discount.

- The workshop will be held at Workshop Number 29, 97 Sandgate High Street, Sandgate Kent CT20 3BY - the nearest car park is in Wilberforce Road but there is parking along the seafront and limited parking in the village.
