Coil Building planters with Rosa Bond
Come and get your hands mucky with us for a morning exploring coil building with clay.
No clay experience necessary.
In this workshop we will be using the meditative technique of coiling to make terracotta
planters. Coil building is a really hands on, tactile way of shaping clay. I will demonstrate
basic principles and steps to success for coiling pots. We will look at different shapes and how to add handles or feet to your planter.
Your finished coil pot will then be dried, glazed and fired and returned to Workshop
number 29 for collection. (Please allow 3 weeks for this to happen).
All materials and firings are included in the price.
Please bring an apron or wear old clothes that you wouldn’t mind getting marked.
